The Russians bombed and completely destroyed the office of Médecins Sans Frontières in the Donetsk region. Local residents were injured as a result of the Russian attack.
This was reported by a Facebook post from Médecins Sans Frontières.
"Today, April 5, at around 3:00 a.m., the office of Médecins Sans Frontières in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, was bombed and completely destroyed. Our colleagues were not injured," the organization reported.
Due to the Russian attack, five local residents who were near the office were injured.
"We condemn the attack on the office that provided emergency medical humanitarian aid to people in the Donetsk region. 'Doctors Without Borders' calls for the protection of its facilities, as well as civilians, humanitarian workers, and healthcare personnel," the organization added.
Vincenzo Porpiglia, the emergency coordinator for Médecins Sans Frontières in Ukraine, emphasized that the attack on the organization's office is not an isolated incident.
"The destruction of civilian infrastructure has been a characteristic feature of this war for a long time," emphasized Vincenzo Porpiglia.
