The Ukrainian group of production and trading companies Sol Union has begun construction of the Neo Food System ready-meals factory in Kyiv region, with a production area of over 4,000 sq. m, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development Dmytro Kysylevskyi reported.
“The plant’s design capacity will allow for the production of 60,000 ready meals daily to supply the region. The factory will produce ready-to-eat chilled meals, as well as pasteurized, sterilized, and deep-frozen products. The group’s investment in this project exceeds UAH 200 million,” he wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
According to him, the group acquired an existing industrial facility for the project, which already has sufficient electricity connections, water supply, treatment facilities, and sewage systems. Equipment installation will begin in April 2026, production launch is planned for May, and reaching full capacity is scheduled for September 2026. Kysylevskyi noted that Sol Union is participating in the “5-7-9” program to implement this first project outside Dnipro.

He also reminded that the group has two food production plants in Dnipro producing ready-to-eat meals, quick-prep foods, packaged groceries, sugar sticks and coffee, as well as pasta, sauces, and jam.
“At various enterprises of the group in Dnipro, 340 workers are employed. Another 130 positions are open — recruitment of specialists is ongoing,” the report says.
Kysylevskyi added that one of the group’s plants, with the help of a state grant (up to UAH 8 million on a 50:50 co-financing basis), purchased autoclaves for sterilization, pasteurization, and food preservation, manufactured by the Kyiv-based Rozfood plant.
“In this case, the grant accounted for about 20% of the total amount for the first stage of investments,” he wrote.

LLC “Sol Union” (Dnipro), according to YouControl, was registered in 2021 with a charter capital of UAH 17.95 million. The company’s net revenue in 2024 fell 2.3 times compared to the previous year — to UAH 544 million, while net profit halved to UAH 50.3 million. From January to September 2025, the company recorded net revenue of UAH 417.4 million and net profit of UAH 34 million.
The group includes two food production and packaging factories, a 5,000-ton vegetable storage facility, warehouses totaling 17,000 sq. m, and a plant for decorating containers and tableware.
