The Speaker of the Saeima of Latvia, Daiga Mieriņa, has arrived in Ukraine on an official visit.
This information was announced by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Facebook.
Mierina was met and welcomed to Ukraine by the Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Olena Kondratyuk, on her first official visit to the country.
"This visit will further strengthen the friendly alliance between our countries and parliaments," stated Kondratyuk.
