The CfE accelerator of the Ukrainian Catholic University, in collaboration with the Stanford Graduate School of Business, has announced a free educational program for 42 small and medium-sized business owners. This is not the only positive news for those eager to acquire new knowledge.

Recently, we reported that Ukraine's largest educational platform, Prometheus, is launching a Global Online University, allowing Ukrainians to participate in over 50 educational programs from leading universities worldwide for free. What do we know about the new program for entrepreneurs, Stanford Ignite Ukraine?

"In order for Ukrainian small and medium-sized businesses to develop even more actively, it is important for entrepreneurs to be able to borrow international experience, deepen their knowledge, reach a new level, and, as a result, create new jobs and restore Ukraine's economy. After all, 81.7% of all those employed in business work in small and medium-sized enterprises. I am pleased that, in addition to state support programs, such important initiatives are emerging. Thanks to this, we have the potential to become a country that embodies the most ambitious business dreams," said Yulia Svyrydenko, the head of the Ministry of Economy, as quoted by the Ministry's press service.

The goal of Stanford Ignite Ukraine is to help entrepreneurs gain new experience and implement ambitious ideas for the development of companies operating in Ukraine.

The program is specifically designed for owners of small and medium-sized businesses who:

  1. Have been engaged in entrepreneurial activities for at least 3 years.
  2. Intend to scale, develop innovations, launch new products/services, attract investments, enter new markets, or have other growth ideas.

According to the CEO of CfE accelerator, Ivan Petrenko, 42 Ukrainian entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to explore a broader market, understand its rules, increase ambitions, rethink, and develop their businesses.

The program will start in February 2024 and will last for seven weeks, with four weeks conducted online and the remaining three weeks offline directly at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The cost of education and accommodation near the campus, as well as certain associated logistical expenses, will be covered by the organizers with the support of the Ministry of Economy and the Ukrainian Catholic University.
