The Ukrainian defense forces confirmed a strike on a Russian military base on the left bank of the Kherson region. Approximately 60 military were destroyed.
This was reported by the spokeswoman for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, on Kyiv24 broadcast.
"All this masquerade with raising the flag and fleeing from there was spectacularly concluded by the actions carried out yesterday on one of the training grounds, where the relevant assault groups are actually being prepared," she said.
According to her, as a result of the strike, dozens of Russian military personnels were destroyed.
"The work was carried out quite effectively, at least 60 invaders definitely won't return to the battle positions anymore, and the rest of the data we will further verify," the spokeswoman added.
Humeniuk did not disclose what weaponry was used for the attack, but emphasized that the defense forces "use all available weapons and power."
