The Ukrainian fund Vesna Capital has participated in investments in the Polish MedTech startup Doctor. One, as reported on the fund's LinkedIn page.

In addition to Vesna Capital, business angels, shareholders, and the venture fund Smartlink Partners, which invested €500,000 — half of the funding round, according to My Company Polska, have also joined. The exact amount Vesna Capital invested is currently unknown.

"The initial results of the pilot project are impressive. Their medical communicator successfully filled gaps in traditional medical support, increasing doctor-patient micro-interactions by eight times and improving disease and treatment knowledge perception for 88% of patients," Vesna Capital stated.

Doctor. One was founded by Tomasz Rudolf and Maciej Malenda. It's an application for communication between doctors and patients that replaces informal communication. In it, doctors can structure their communication with patients, and patients can contact medical professionals for assistance. This operates on a subscription model.

The raised funds will be used by the startup for further development. They aim to integrate additional features, integrate with third-party systems and diagnostic service providers, add AI elements, and more.

Vesna Capital is an investment fund founded by Andriy Fedorov, Viacheslav Klimov, and Volodymyr Popereshniuk in 2022. Since its inception, the investment portfolio has included numerous projects, including Kooperativ, The Good Plastic, REMO, Salo, Doc.ua, Zeely, Deskree, and others. Vesna Capital focuses primarily on assisting in the creation of the next generation of ambitious, competitive, and sustainable entrepreneurs. The firm offers three collaboration models: VC Studio, Private Equity, and Venture Investment.
