The Toloka.vc syndicate participated in a $5.2 million funding round for the medical startup Persimmon.

Toloka's contribution amounted to $645,000. Persimmon is a telemedicine platform based in San Francisco that focuses on providing aesthetic cosmetology services at home.

"Clinical guidance is provided by highly qualified nurses who develop clinical, educational, and treatment protocols," the startup's description states.

In addition to Toloka, the $5.2 million round included Waterline Ventures, Kadron Capital Partners, Plus, and several private investors. Persimmon reported $750,000 in revenue for 2022 and $4.8 million for 2023, according to Toloka's founders.

Previously, the Toloka.vc syndicate invested €1 million in the German company FINN, which develops an online car subscription service that simplifies the car ownership process.
