The United Kingdom is one of the countries that has been providing consistent and systematic support since the first day of the full-scale invasion and continues to do so. Ukraine, in turn, is ready to continue cooperation and work based on the principles of transparency, accountability, and efficiency.

This was stated by Oleksii Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories of Ukraine, during a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Martin Harris.

“We need to complete all the projects that have been initiated. However, from now on, the Ministry is taking care of a new policy regarding temporarily occupied territories as an element of regional policy. This will also require joint attention. Additionally, within the framework of our cooperation, we have the issue of the Black Sea. We must find all ways to maintain the security of the maritime corridor,” said Oleksii Kuleba.

Oleksii Kuleba thanked the United Kingdom for its systematic, rapid, and timely support and assistance.

For his part, Martin Harris noted that Ukraine and Britain have many common affairs and plans.

“Through this horrific war, the United Kingdom and Ukraine have become great allies and partners. We have clearly understood that your security is our security. Ukraine's victory is important for everyone. And even after the victory, we have great prospects for developing our relations. The largest aid program in the world from Britain is aid for Ukraine. This includes both humanitarian and economic assistance. That is, we are a full-spectrum donor. We are already preparing new aid programs and programs for various sectors of Ukraine,” he said.

The parties also discussed the heating season in Ukraine, its specifics, and needs.
