The United States has information about the shootings of Russian military personnel for refusing to obey orders from their commanding officers.

On Thursday, October 26, the Coordinator for Strategic Communications of the U.S. National Security Council, John Kirby, made this statement.

He noted that during Russia's attempts to advance, they send "thousands" of undertrained and demoralized soldiers into battle.

"We have information that Russian military personnel have effectively executed soldiers who refused to follow orders," said the White House representative.

Kirby also added that the U.S. is aware that Russian commanders have threatened to shoot entire units if they attempt to retreat under the fire of Ukrainian artillery.

An American official also mentioned in the briefing that Russia is currently conducting offensive actions on multiple fronts, including in the areas around Avdiivka, Lyman, and Kupiansk.

At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including with the assistance of American military aid, have been able to hold and maintain defensive positions on these frontlines.

According to Kirby, since October 11, Russia has suffered significant losses in its attempts to advance, including "at least 125 armored units around Avdiivka and military equipment from more than a battalion."

The United States does not rule out the possibility that Russia may intensify its attacks on the battlefield because it "still has the potential for further attacks."

The White House representative does not exclude further Russian attempts to advance in the Avdiivka area and suggests that Russian forces "may achieve certain tactical successes in the coming months by deploying thousands of troops into battle."
