The writer and co-founder of Amnesty Sweden resigned due to disagreement with the report on the armed forces

The co-founder of the Swedish organization Amnesty, the writer Per Wästberg announced that he is leaving the organization because of the Amnesty International report criticizing the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet.

In the report, Amnesty International strongly criticizes Ukraine and claims that the country allegedly violates international law and endangers civilians when the Ukrainian military is near civilian objects, allegedly “establishing bases” in residential areas, schools and hospitals and launching strikes from residential areas. districts
