The training base of the Chornomorets football club in Odessa was damaged as a result of a Russian attack.
The club reported this on Telegram.
"On the evening of February 28, as a result of another barbaric airstrike by the Russian Federation, the training base of the 'seamen' suffered significant damage," the message states.
It is noted that the windows in the pool were broken, and the administrative building was also damaged, with glass shards scattered across the territory of the sports and rehabilitation complex. Additionally, the cars of employees and club representatives were damaged.
Chornomorets also mentioned that the team arrived at the base that evening ahead of the important match of the 19th round of the Ukrainian Premier League against FC 'Lviv Bereg'. No players, coaches, or staff were injured.
"Most of the players and coaches stayed overnight at the base. The guys are in normal psychological condition," the message reads.
The club added that "all the foreign players are here, all are with the team."
They thanked their fans for their support and expressed special thanks to those fans who are fighting the Russian forces on the battlefield.
