Thanks to the evidence provided by the Security Service, two more accomplices of the aggressor have received real prison terms. One, a resident of Tsyrkuny village, will serve ten and a half years. According to the investigation, he assisted occupiers in navigating the area and looting the homes of local residents after the capture of the settlement.
The perpetrator, along with armed Russian military personnel, forcibly entered the homes of Ukrainians, confiscating food supplies, vehicles, and generators. During these raids, the Russian nationalists even took food from children and elderly people, threatening imprisonment and murder in case of resistance.
For collaborating with the occupiers, the offender received privileges for free movement within the village. SSU agents apprehended the criminal during stabilization efforts in the liberated territory in May 2022. Based on the evidence, the court found him guilty of aiding the state aggressor.
Another convicted individual is a resident of Kupiansk district, who leaked intelligence about the location and movements of the Armed Forces within the community to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB). The aggressor primarily sought information on the locations of arsenals with weapons and ammunition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to adjust rocket-artillery and drone attacks accordingly.
According to the investigation, the Russian intelligence agency remotely recruited the woman for cooperation after the start of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation. SBU agents identified her whereabouts and arrested her in her own residence after the district was liberated.
Based on the collected evidence, the court found the culprit guilty of unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement, displacement, or placement of the Armed Forces, committed under conditions of martial law.
