Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Danish Minister of Defence Jeppe Bruus, who is visiting Ukraine for the first time since taking office. The Head of State thanked the Minister, the Danish government, and the people of Denmark for their support and financial assistance since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. The President noted that during the war the two countries had developed successful models of cooperation, including the Danish model, and that there is now an opportunity to expand them. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also expressed special gratitude for Denmark’s support of the Czech ammunition initiative.
“We have also discussed the major Drone Deal. I know our teams have been working on it, and it is almost ready. I hope we will have the opportunity to sign this document in the near future,” the President said.

The President and the Danish Defence Minister agreed that the Drone Deal between Ukraine and Denmark should be concluded as soon as possible.
Jeppe Bruus assured Zelenskyy that he and Denmark’s new government would continue the country's policy of strong support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
The meeting also covered the contents of the next, 30th, military aid package for Ukraine.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation on strengthening Europe’s anti-ballistic capabilities. Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Jeppe Bruus for Denmark’s cooperation in this area.
