From January to September 2025, Ukraine exported 811 tons of mollusks, 10.1% less than during the same period last year.
According to data from the State Customs Service, however, the export value increased by 10%, reaching $5.5 million, reports AgroTimes.
The main buyers of Ukrainian mollusks during the first three quarters of 2025 were Lithuania (70.4%), Spain (17.6%), and Romania (5.7%).
Mollusk imports over the same nine months totaled 4,400 tons, 4.8% higher than last year’s figure for the same period.
Ukraine spent 27% more on imported mollusks compared to the first three quarters of 2024, amounting to $19.3 million.
The largest suppliers to the domestic market from January to September 2025 were China (30.7%), Chile (24.5%), and France (16.5%).
