In January 2025, Ukraine's trade turnover amounted to $8.7 billion.

According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine,

"In January 2025, goods worth $5.5 billion were imported into Ukraine, while exports totaled $3.2 billion."

The countries from which goods were imported the most into Ukraine were: China ($1.4 billion), Poland ($487 million), Turkey ($389 million). The top export destinations from Ukraine were Poland ($352 million), Italy ($205 million), and Spain ($202 million).

The three most exported goods from Ukraine were:

  • Food products: $1.8 billion
  • Metals and metal products: $325 million
  • Machinery, equipment, and transport: $282 million.

Of the total imports in January 2025, 68% consisted of the following categories:

  • Machinery, equipment, and transport: $2.2 billion
  • Chemical industry products: $901 million
  • Fuel and energy products: $734 million.
