Ukraine has already received about USD 10.1 billion from the International Monetary Fund out of the USD 15.5 billion provided under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme.

This was reported by the Ministry of Finance, commenting on the start of the new IMF Mission’s work in Ukraine.

It is noted that the mission will last from May 20 to 27.

"The leadership of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine, and experts from the International Monetary Fund will discuss throughout the week the status of Ukraine’s implementation of the programme's conditions and preparations for the eighth review of the Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies," the statement reads.

Among the main topics are measures to mobilize domestic state budget revenues, public debt management, the 2026–2028 budget declaration, and the reform of public investment management.

"The State Budget of Ukraine has already received eight tranches under the IMF EFF programme totaling about USD 10.1 billion out of the USD 15.5 billion provided for by the programme," the statement also notes.

The IMF mission on the eighth review of the Extended Fund Facility programme has begun in Ukraine.

In 2025, Ukraine plans to receive USD 2.7 billion under this programme based on the results of four quarterly reviews.
