Ukraine is interested in receiving decommissioned military equipment from allies, including Italy.
This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, on Twitter.
He noted that during the negotiations, he expressed Ukraine’s interest in decommissioned Italian military equipment.
In particular, the parties:
- Noted good prospects for further cooperation between our defense sectors;
- Coordinated positions ahead of the High-Level Week of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA);
- Discussed issues concerning Ukrainian children temporarily residing in Italy due to Russian aggression.
