On Friday, Ukraine had to request emergency assistance from three European countries to address the energy deficit, according to Ukrenergo.

'Today, to overcome the deficit in the energy system, emergency electricity supplies are being received from the energy systems of Poland, Slovakia, and Romania. Emergency assistance from Slovakia and Poland also arrived on Thursday, September 12,' Ukrenergo said in a statement.

The system operator urges the public to conserve electricity throughout the day and avoid using multiple high-power electrical appliances simultaneously from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

At the same time, seasonal consumption has decreased: on Friday, as of 9:30 AM, the consumption level was 2.1% lower than at the same time on Thursday, September 12.

The daily maximum consumption recorded during the day on Thursday was also 1.8% lower than the previous day, Wednesday, September 11.

However, imports on Friday increased by 13% compared to Thursday, with electricity being imported throughout the day from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova, totaling 18,204 MWh.

Due to the ongoing conflict and other reasons, 562 settlements were completely or partially without electricity this morning.

According to the Ministry of Energy in its Telegram channel, over the past day, Russian shelling targeted civilian energy infrastructure in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.
