The First Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Oleksii Sobolev, opened trading today at the London Stock Exchange. This took place during a working visit by the Ukrainian delegation to London. The Deputy Minister, Andrii Teliupa, also participated in the opening ceremony.
"Opening the trading session at the London Stock Exchange was a great honor and a clear signal that Ukraine is open for investment and expanding its partnership with the United Kingdom. The British financial sector has shown active support for Ukraine. We will continue to strengthen joint efforts to attract investments, expand access to long-term financing, and promote key reforms," emphasized Oleksii Sobolev.
After the opening of the exchange, the Ukrainian delegation met with British investors, managers, and asset management advisors. They discussed cooperation prospects and attracting investments. The British side expressed interest in collaborating with Ukraine in the United Kingdom's capital markets ecosystem.
