Ukraine has received $4.8 billion from the World Bank as part of the PEACE project, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced on Telegram.
"This is the largest investment project in the bank's history, launched to support our country in implementing reforms and strengthening the social, educational, and healthcare sectors, as well as supporting agricultural producers and recovery initiatives," Shmyhal stated.
During the full-scale war, Ukraine has attracted nearly $50 billion through World Bank mechanisms.
"We are deeply grateful to the United States and development partners funding the PEACE project, and to the World Bank for its continuous involvement and active support of initiatives that fortify Ukraine," the Prime Minister added.
