On the night of February 9, Russia launched 151 drones at Ukraine. Air defense operated in 14 regions.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Russian drones were launched from five locations in Russia—Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

Air defense forces destroyed 70 drones. Air defense was active in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Volyn, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Odessa regions.

Additionally, 74 drones, which were decoys, were lost from radar without negative consequences. Two drones remained airborne.

According to the Air Force, the attack affected Kyiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, and Volyn regions.
