On the night of June 4, starting at 10:40 p.m. on June 3, Russian forces launched a large-scale drone attack on Ukraine, deploying 95 strike UAVs—Shahed-type drones and various decoy drones—from Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The main targets of the air assault were the Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, and Donetsk regions.

Ukraine’s air defenses—fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, mobile fire groups, and UAV units—responded to the threat.

As of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces had neutralized 61 UAVs: 36 shot down by direct fire and 25 suppressed or lost via electronic warfare.

However, Russian drones struck seven different locations across Ukraine.
