Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, during the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format, discussed with Latvia’s Defense Minister Andris Sprūds the strengthening of the Drone Coalition’s work.

“Started work in Brussels — within the framework of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting (Ramstein format) and the Ukraine–NATO Council session,” Umerov said.
He informed that he “held a meeting with Latvia’s Defense Minister Andris Sprūds — a reliable friend and ally of Ukraine.”
According to Umerov,
“We focused on strengthening the work of the Drone Coalition, where Latvia is one of the leading countries. Agreed on the next steps to enhance its effectiveness.”
The Defense Minister emphasized the importance of united action to achieve a just peace and stop Russian aggression.
He expressed gratitude to Latvia for its active participation in all key initiatives supporting Ukraine.
Umerov also thanked Latvia’s Defense Minister for the substantive conversation, strategic vision, and unwavering support for Ukraine.
