In January-February 2025, Ukraine imported goods worth $11.3 billion and exported goods worth $6.3 billion. Taxable imports amounted to $8.6 billion, which accounts for 76% of the total imports.

Countries with the highest imports:

  • China: $2.6 billion
  • Poland: $1 billion
  • Germany: $841 million

Countries with the highest exports:

  • Poland: $714 million
  • Spain: $464 million
  • Italy: $449 million

Among the imported goods in January-February 2025, the following categories accounted for 67% of the total:

  • Machines, equipment, and transport: $4.3 billion
    (Customs payments: 26.3 billion UAH, 27% of total customs revenue)
  • Chemical industry products: $2 billion
    (Customs payments: 15.8 billion UAH, 16% of total customs revenue)
  • Energy resources: $1.4 billion
    (Customs payments: 26.8 billion UAH, 28% of total customs revenue)

Most exported goods:

  • Food products: $3.7 billion
  • Metals and metal products: $624 million
  • Machines, equipment, and transport: $568 million

For January-February 2025, during the customs clearance of exported goods subject to export duties, 41.2 million UAH was paid to the budget.
