The full-scale invasion has generated new demands from the military for round-the-clock remote observation, control, and protection of the terrain, perimeters, and movement paths of mobile objects, to which Kyiv-based developers promptly responded.

Compass Engineering, a company specializing in engineering and IT infrastructure, has been developing innovative technological solutions for the military since the beginning of the war, implementing them in practice.

One such solution is the ZIR Pro complex, currently actively used in enemy detection. It provides Ukrainian forces with an advantage over the hostile "Mur - P," which is crucial today.

According to military personnel actively using ZIR Pro, in addition to technical characteristics, the system is unique in that it employs neural network and artificial intelligence technologies for enemy detection and can expand its potential through modularity.

In addition to video analytics, surveillance, and monitoring, the system can also be used for targeting air, surface, and ground targets. Currently, this system is already actively used by units of the Armed Forces.

"Drones are not the only solution for identifying living forces and equipment, so, using the available tactics of technological warfare, we decided to create a thermal vision observation system that would be more advanced than the enemy's means," says Vitaliy Rozdobudko, the director of Compass Engineering.

Thanks to the presence of a high-quality optical sensor with a 50x zoom, high observation range is ensured, and the thermal imaging camera with the latest generation detectors allows for enemy detection in adverse weather conditions across diverse terrain.

One of the recent achievements of this new development is the nighttime detection of "Shahed" type drones in challenging weather conditions at a distance of 7 kilometers.

Currently, the Compass Engineering team is working on modifying existing components of the system and developing new solutions to improve the technical equipment of the military and enhance situational awareness on the battlefield.
