The universal ground robotic complex 'Gulliver,' developed by Ukrainian inventors, has been certified by the Ministry of Defense and approved for use in the Defense Forces of Ukraine. 'Gulliver' was designed to meet the needs of Ukrainian defenders in combat conditions and in various challenging weather conditions, according to the ministry’s website.
The ground drone is capable of:
- Delivering ammunition, gear, and equipment,
- Evacuating the wounded,
- Serving as a transporter for combat modules,
- Performing mining tasks (in the appropriate configuration).
On paved roads, 'Gulliver' can carry a load of over 300 kg. On rough terrain, it can transport a slightly lighter load. However, the drone has enough towing power to pull a small military off-road vehicle out of the mud.
'Gulliver' is relatively small and can be transported in a pickup truck’s bed. It can operate in temperatures ranging from extreme cold to hot heat. It is capable of overcoming not only mud but also steep slopes.
On a single battery charge, the drone can deliver a load over several dozen kilometers and return in the opposite direction.
