The Ukrainian company Kvertus has developed a special vehicle-mounted electronic warfare (EW) system called AD CERBERUS, with an effective range of over 100 meters—depending on operating conditions.

“AD CERBERUS is a modular EW system designed to be installed on vehicles to protect them from attacks by radio-controlled drones. It features external antennas and allows building EW systems with a custom set of 1 to 12 frequency bands,” the company’s website states.

The company explained that the system’s installation is based on a modular principle. The user of AD CERBERUS can assemble up to three modules or use just one.

“One module can contain 1 to 4 frequency jamming bands, chosen by the user. So, we ended up with a kind of ‘EW IKEA’—adaptive and affordable,” Kvertus wrote on their Facebook page.

The manufacturer clarified that the jamming signals are emitted by quadrifilar antennas that create reliable dome-shaped protection.

The company’s website also states that the system can operate continuously for up to 12 hours with one-hour breaks between cycles when powered from a 220V AC mains supply. The system’s readiness time is no more than 30 seconds.
