Ukrainian farmers harvest over 15 million tons of grains and legumes

As of August 1, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 4,423.9 thousand hectares and gathered 15,474 thousand tons of early grains and leguminous crops. This accounts for 39% of the area sown with grains and legumes.

Specifically:

  • Wheat: 3,054.2 thousand hectares harvested, yielding 11,357.8 thousand tons;
  • Barley: 1,014.8 thousand hectares harvested, yielding 3,572.8 thousand tons;
  • Peas: 208.2 thousand hectares harvested, yielding 492.2 thousand tons;
  • Other grains and legumes: harvested on 145.5 thousand hectares, yielding 50.4 thousand tons.

Leading regions include:

  • Odessa region: 1,070.4 thousand hectares harvested, yielding 3,089.1 thousand tons;
  • Kirovohrad region: 462.9 thousand hectares harvested, yielding 1,927.5 thousand tons;
  • Poltava region: 344.7 thousand hectares harvested, yielding 1,519.8 thousand tons.

Farmers in Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions have begun harvesting millet, with 1.2 thousand hectares harvested and 83 tons gathered.

Rapeseed has already been harvested on 781.9 thousand hectares, yielding 1,761.5 thousand tons.
