Ukrainian farmers have already harvested more than 50 million tons of crops

In Ukraine, 50.4 million tons of the new harvest have been threshed, covering an area of 14.2 million hectares. A total of 34.3 million tons of grains, 13.6 million tons of oilseeds, and 2.5 million tons of sugar beets have been collected.

  • Wheat – harvested on 4.9 million hectares, 22.3 million tons threshed;
  • Barley – harvested on 1.4 million hectares, 5.5 million tons threshed;
  • Peas – harvested on 212.2 thousand hectares, 465.3 thousand tons threshed;
  • Corn – harvested on 920.7 thousand hectares, 4.7 million tons threshed;
  • Millet – harvested on 77.7 thousand hectares, 147.8 thousand tons threshed;
  • Buckwheat – harvested on 78.3 thousand hectares, 115.5 thousand tons threshed;
  • Sunflower – harvested on 3.3 million hectares, 6.6 million tons of seeds threshed;
  • Soybeans – harvested on 1.6 million hectares, 3.5 million tons of seeds threshed;
  • Rapeseed – harvested on 1.3 million hectares, 3.5 million tons of seeds threshed.

The leaders in gross grain harvest are agricultural producers from Odessa region – 4.2 million tons, Poltava region – 2.9 million tons, and Dnipropetrovsk region – 2.5 million tons.

In terms of yield, farmers from Khmelnytskyi region lead with a yield of 65.5 quintals per hectare, followed by Bukovyna – 60.1 quintals per hectare, and Ivano-Frankivsk region – 58.9 quintals per hectare.
