Ukrainian farmers have harvested nearly 25 million tons of grains and leguminous crops

As of August 15, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 24,805.9 thousand tons of early grains and leguminous crops from an area of 6,186.6 thousand hectares. Fifty-five percent of the sown area has been harvested.

Specifically:

  • Wheat – 18,985.7 thousand tons from 4,396.2 thousand ha;
  • Barley – 4,732.0 thousand tons from 1,247.2 thousand ha;
  • Peas – 573.5 thousand tons from 230.3 thousand ha;
  • Other grains and leguminous crops – 513.1 thousand tons from 310.8 thousand ha.

Among the leading regions:

  • Odessa region – 3,425.3 thousand tons from 1,070.4 thousand ha;
  • Kirovohrad region – 2,204.0 thousand tons from 533.4 thousand ha;
  • Vinnytsia region – 2,082.9 thousand tons from 337.6 thousand ha.

Rapeseed has already yielded 3,014.5 thousand tons from 1,184.8 thousand ha.

In Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions, buckwheat harvesting has begun.
