Servicemen of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine blew up a power station in the occupied Sevastopol on the night of Tuesday, April 2.

This was reported to Ukrinform by an informed source in the intelligence service.

"The power station was disabled by a powerful explosion," the source said.

It is worth noting that local Telegram channels reported explosions in Sevastopol, as a result of which electricity was cut off in one of the districts.

The occupation governor of the city, Mikhail Razvozhaev, stated that the power outage was due to a technical malfunction at the district substation.

The Sevastopolenergo published information at 07:48, stating that a technical malfunction occurred in the electrical networks between 02:07 and 06:42 on April 2.
