Ukrainian Startups Ovul, HEFT, and StackBob share $30,000 prize at IT Arena 2025

At the annual startup competition within IT Arena 2025, the overall category was won by projects combining artificial intelligence with solutions to pressing issues in women’s health, agrotechnology, and corporate security. A total of 60 startups competed in the semifinals, 30 of which were in the overall category.

The grand prize of $15,000 was awarded to the innovative hormonal tracker Ovul, second place and $10,000 went to the agrotechnology solution HEFT, and the bronze and $5,000 were claimed by the AI startup StackBob (prize positions and amounts are according to the competition rules).

Winners

Ovul
Ovul became the champion with its hormonal tracker using saliva analysis. The device is positioned as the world’s first hormonal tracker for women, helping users live in balance with their bodies.

 

 

HEFT
HEFT is a monitoring system for cow health and fertility, designed to address significant financial losses in dairy farming. The system uses accelerometers to collect activity data. Its key feature is heat detection, identifying the optimal time for insemination with 98% accuracy. HEFT can also measure stomach acidity and use AI to predict certain health issues.

 

 

StackBob
StackBob is an AI platform for managing employee identity and access. The solution automates onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as managing passwords and licenses.

 

 

Winners in the defense track:

  • 1st place – Dwarf-Engineering
  • 2nd place – REB BABAY
  • 3rd place – Bravo Dynamics

In the semifinals, 30 startups competed in the overall category.
