PJSC Ukrnafta has started construction of a new well in Northeastern Ukraine.
Drilling is being carried out using the company's own equipment.
"The well is planned as an exploratory one. The design depth of the object is 3314 meters. The goal is to reach the productive horizons of the Visean deposits," said Sergiy Koretsky, the director of PJSC "Ukrnafta".
Completion of construction is scheduled for August 2024.
At the same time, in Western Ukraine, the installation of another company-owned drilling rig for a new well is nearing completion.
