In the Russian Federation, there is no reserve for an offensive on two or three fronts. This was stated by Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, during a press conference on Wednesday.

"The mobilization measures in Russia are ongoing, and they manage to restore the losses they suffer every day, but the reserve is insufficient to form powerful strategic offensive operations on two or three fronts, as Putin speaks of and scares the European community with the opening of a second front and an offensive," he said.

"At present, the ground component and the airborne component of the Russian Armed Forces are incapable of conducting strategic offensive operations. Assault and tactical operations, yes. And we see that they will continue this, but without powerful tactical reserves, it is impossible for them to carry out strategic offensive operations," added Skibitsky.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate's assessments, tactical military actions will continue, as Russia will use any ceasefire to improve its capabilities for recovery or open new directions for military actions.

"We cannot allow ourselves to lose our territories due to our inaction... In the event of a cessation of hostilities, the enemy will have the opportunity to accumulate forces and restore combat capabilities. We witnessed this in 2015-2016 when military actions were suspended in the occupied territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and we faced new aggression in 2022," emphasized the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

According to Skibitsky, Russia will continue to destroy Ukrainians, our infrastructure, civilian, and military objects.
