Today, February 10, at 10:18, two Russian Kalibr cruise missiles crossed the state border of Ukraine with the Republic of Moldova. At about 10:33, they crossed the airspace of Romania, a member of NATO.
This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny in Telegram. After that, the missiles again entered the airspace of Ukraine at the point of intersection of the borders of the three states.
According to Zaluzhny, these Kalibr were launched from the Black Sea.
Later, the information was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Moldova. The department condemned the actions of the Russian Federation. The Moldovan Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador in connection with a Russian missile's violation of the country's airspace.
"At 10:18, the responsible structures of the institution detected a missile that crossed the airspace of the Republic of Moldova over the city of Mokraya in the Transnistrian region and subsequently over the city of Kosauke in the Soroca region, heading towards Ukraine," the report says.
