The Security Service of Ukraine is carrying out stabilization measures in the de-occupied territory of the Kherson region. In particular, the special service identifies local collaborators, traitors, and agents of the Russian special services, whom they could have left on Ukrainian territory. The SSU also conducts investigative actions to document war crimes of the Russian Federation.
"We understand that the enemy could have specially left its agents in the de-occupied territory to perform certain tasks. Our task is to identify them. In addition, the SSU has a lot of operational information about traitors and collaborators who defected to the enemy. So we check it directly on the spot. All those who betrayed Ukraine for the sake of "Russian peace" will receive the well-deserved punishment," stressed the head of the SSU, Vasyl Malyuk.
