Vivat Publishing has released the names of the workers of the "Factor-Print" printing house who were killed as a result of a Russian strike on May 23 in Kharkiv.

This was announced by the CEO of the publishing house, Yulia Orlova.

The following employees of the printing house were killed in the strike:

  • Tetiana Khrapina - printer-textile worker
  • Roman Strohyi - machine operator for the gluing machine
  • Svitlana Ryzenko - binder
  • Olha Kurasova - machine operator for sewing machines and automats
  • Olena Ninadovska - machine operator for sewing machines and automats
  • Hanna Mynaieva - machine operator for the assembling machine
  • Dmytro Shylo - binder

As a result of the shelling by Russians on May 23, the Factor-Print printing house in Kharkiv was affected. The impact occurred in the binding department. At the time of the shelling, there were 50 employees in the printing house. 7 people were killed, and another 22 printing house employees were injured.

The President of Ukraine noted that 50,000 books were burned in the printing house.

Factor-Print is one of the largest full-cycle printing complexes in Europe, so nearly all Ukrainian publishers print here. According to the owner of the printing house, Serhiy Polityuchy, this destruction will affect the entire book publishing industry of Ukraine, as the combined capacity of all printing houses will decrease by 30-40%.
