President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is holding a meeting in Berlin with Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz.
The leaders will discuss further defense support for Ukraine, including strengthening air defense, the supply of artillery shells within the Czech-led initiative, weapons production in Ukraine, and cooperation between Ukrainian and German defense industries.
The President of Ukraine and the Chancellor of Germany will pay special attention to steps toward establishing a just and durable peace, joint efforts within the Coalition of the Willing, and intensifying sanctions pressure on Russia.
The agenda also includes the opening of negotiating clusters on Ukraine’s EU membership and the country’s economic recovery plan after the war.
