The top Ukrainian tennis players, led by national No.1 Marta Kostyuk, are gearing up for the Wimbledon tournament's main draw.

According to the official tournament website, Marta Kostyuk will face Slovakia's Rebecca Sramkova in the first round. Their paths crossed only once before at the ITF level, where Kostyuk lost to the Slovak player in Poland.

Ukraine's most decorated player in history, Elina Svitolina, will face a tough opponent in experienced Pole Magda Linette. They last met in the second round of Wimbledon 2021, with the Polish player prevailing.

Meanwhile, Dayana Yastremska will take on Argentina's Nadia Podoroska in the first round, while debutant in Wimbledon's main draw on grass, Yuliya Starodubtseva, will compete against Belgium's Alison Van Uytvanck. Daria Snigur is set to meet France's Oceane Dodin.

Katarina Zavatska will face Germany's Laura Siegemund, and two Ukrainians will face off against Russian opponents: Angelina Kalinina against Elina Avanesyan, and Lesia Tsurenko against Varvara Gracheva, who now represents France. The first-round matches will commence on July 1.
