Wyoming has become the 32nd state in the United States to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-33 as a genocide against the Ukrainian people and declared November as the month of remembrance for it. Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova announced this.

"Wyoming has become the 32nd state to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-33 as a genocide against the Ukrainian people and declared November as the month of remembrance for the Ukrainian Holodomor genocide. Thank you to Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon for solidarity with Ukraine," noted Markarova.

She also expressed gratitude to the active Ukrainian community in the United States for organizing informative events that raise public awareness about these events.

At the same time, Markarova invited everyone to join the candlelight memorial in Washington on Saturday, November 25, near the Holodomor Victims Memorial.
