The spokesperson of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, stated that Russian forces currently have enough kamikaze drones to attack Ukraine daily from various directions.
"We have already seen their record use literally recently on our capital. Therefore, the enemy does have missiles, and they will shell us with them, but we need to enhance our capabilities to intercept the attack UAVs," he emphasized during a telethon.
According to Ignat, it is difficult to determine the Russian's intentions regarding a massive missile strike on Ukraine. It is currently clear that Russia is accumulating certain means. The spokesperson also noted that there were more various missile attacks in the summer.
"These are cruise missiles, in particular. Ballistic missiles, I mean 'Iskander-M.' After all, the things that have been happening lately are not the first time we have experienced them. We saw 'Kinzhals,' cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and drones in the summer. Now, the enemy has started to use air-launched missiles closer to the cold season: Kh-101, Kh-555. Well, we have already seen 'Iskanders' and S-400 missiles used in attacks on Kyiv," Ignat concluded.
