Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, announced the results of the tragic and heroic 2022.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the Defense Forces have liberated 40% of the territories occupied since February 24 and 28% of all territories occupied by Russia.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that the liberation of the Pravoberezhny part of the Kherson region brought the total area of ââthe de-occupied territories to almost 40 thousand square km.
Today, Ukraine continues to deter the enemy on a land sector with a total length of 3,786 km, including an active front line with an aggressor of 1,500 km.
Separately, Zaluzhny noted that the training of the composition and combined arms units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is carried out on the territory of 17 European countries.
In general, thanks to partners, more than 20,000 servicemen were trained during 2022.
In addition, more than 600,000 civilians were evacuated from the combat areas.
According to Zaluzhny, more than a thousand seriously wounded servicemen were sent for treatment and rehabilitation to the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Poland, Germany, Italy, Romania, the USA, and Israel.
