The U.S. House of Representatives today, April 20, approved a bill on funding assistance to Ukraine. This decision maintains the right course of history.
This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"I am grateful to the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress, both parties, and Speaker Mike Johnson personally for the decision that maintains the right course of history. Democracy and freedom will always matter in the world and will never be defeated as long as America helps defend them," the president emphasized.
He stressed that today an important bill was adopted that will help prevent the spread of war, save thousands and thousands of lives, and make the peoples of Ukraine and the United States stronger.
"Just peace and security can only be achieved through strength. We hope that the bills will be supported in the Senate and sent for consideration to President Biden. Thank you, America!" the head of state emphasized.
