11 medals and 5 Olympic licenses — this is the achievement of Ukrainian swimmers at the Malmsten Swim Open Stockholm tournament

From April 13 to 16, an international swimming tournament was held in Stockholm. According to the competition results, the Ukrainian national team has 11 awards – 4 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze.

Our swimmers also won 5 Olympic licenses for the Games in Paris-2024: Mykhailo Romanchuk (800 m, 400 m and 1500 m freestyle), Oleksandr Zheltyakov (200 m backstroke), Vladyslav Bukhov (50 m freestyle).

The winners of the gold awards were: Oleksandr Zheltyakov (100 m and 200 m backstroke), Denis Kesil (200 m butterfly), and Vladyslav Bukhov (50 m freestyle).

Silver was won by: Maksym Ovchinnikov (200 m breaststroke), Vadym Naumenko (200 m individual medley and 200 m backstroke), Mykhailo Romanchuk (800 m, 400 m, and 1500 m freestyle).

Oleksandr Zheltyakov won the bronze award at the distance of 50 meters on the backstroke.
