The Odessa national team took first place in the team event in the shooting competition among women.

According to the press service of the branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine in the Odessa region, Odessan female shooter won five medals: three gold, one silver and one bronze.

Odessa athletes won three medals in team events, two more medals were brought to the Odessa region by Sofia Mikhailyuk. Thus, 15-year-old Sofia has five championship medals.

Veronika Skorina also has three medals, two of which are gold. Vitalina Martynyuk has two (one gold).

Sofia Mikhailyuk won a medal in three-position small-bore rifle shooting.

In qualifying, she became the second, and in the final, she was only 0.1 points ahead of Vladislava Koval from Lviv, who is six years older than the Odessa woman.

In addition, Sofia showed the best result among women in the championship in air rifle shooting in mixed doubles (30 shots - 311.8 points). In this discipline, the Odessa girl took part out of competition, since she did not have a pair.
