The documentary film "20 Days in Mariupol" by Mstyslav Chernov has received the duPont-Columbia Award. This is an American accolade that honors achievements in television and digital journalism.

"20 Days in Mariupol" was created by the Associated Press in collaboration with the U.S. public broadcasting service Frontline.

The documentary was among 15 winners of the 2024 duPont-Columbia Awards announced at a ceremony at Columbia University in New York on Thursday. Founded in 1942, the awards highlight outstanding audio and video reporting in the public interest. The film has also been nominated for best documentary at the Academy Awards.
