In the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, around 80% of critical infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed due to Russian shelling. Russian forces are now just 7 kilometers away from the city’s outskirts.

Serhiy Dobriak, the head of the city’s military administration, shared this information during a televised broadcast. Despite the danger, approximately 13,000 residents, including 94 children, remain in Pokrovsk.

"Just yesterday, there were two attacks—at 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.—with 6 aerial guided bombs (GAB) hitting the city center. Four people were injured," Dobriak reported.

He added that the Russian forces continues to systematically destroy civilian infrastructure, leaving the city without electricity, water, and gas. Despite the difficult conditions, evacuations are ongoing. A month and a half ago, Pokrovsk had a population of 48,000, including nearly 5,900 children.
