The Ukrainian community is organizing a Christmas concert of carols and shchedrivkas, which will take place on December 11 at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Family in London.
This was announced on Facebook by the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain – London Branch.
This evening will be dedicated to unity, gratitude, and the unwavering spirit of the Ukrainian community. Guests of the cultural event will have the opportunity to enjoy a harmonious blend of Ukrainian and English carols performed by Ukrainian soprano Marianna Bodnar, the VIVO quartet, the London Ukrainian Youth Choir, the Youth Theatre of the Richmond Social Club, and the renowned orchestra Academy of St Martin in the Fields.
Admission is free, but donations are welcome. All collected funds will go to the Patriarchal Foundation "Wise Action" under the patronage of the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Family. This initiative aims to help Ukrainian communities recover after the war and build a stronger future. Inspired by the vision of the righteous Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, it seeks to promote education and enlightenment as a path to a better and truthful life.
