Russian forces attacked the center of Kharkiv today, May 14. They hit a high-rise building.
According to the State Emergency Service, the Russians launched attacks on residential areas of Kharkiv with missiles and aerial bombs.
The aircraft munition hit a 20-story building, causing damage. Fires also broke out in a garage cooperative covering an area of ââ80 square meters and grass ignited.
According to the latest data from the prosecutor's office, 20 civilians were injured as a result of the attack. Among them are six men, 11 women, and three children - two girls aged 12 and 8, and a 12-year-old boy.
At least 20 residential and non-residential buildings were damaged, including a shopping center, educational institution, and shop.
According to preliminary information, the Russians used the UMPB D-30 (Unified Multiservice Planning Munition, caliber 30 cm) for the attack.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, and the Ukrainian Ombudsman, Dmytro Lubinets, Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office and local media showed photos of the Russian attack.
