The meeting of the foreign ministers of the Big Five EU countries (Poland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain), as well as the United Kingdom, is taking place in Warsaw.
During the meeting, which was joined by the future High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, the geopolitical situation in Europe, assistance to Ukraine, defense capabilities, and transatlantic cooperation are being discussed.
In an interview on RMF.FM, the Polish Foreign Minister stated on Tuesday that the meeting would address "the most important issues."
"That is, first of all, whether the largest EU countries are ready to find funds to buy more ammunition, invest in Ukraine's defense sector, and send more combat equipment to strengthen Ukraine's negotiating position next year when the Russian economy begins to collapse," emphasized Sikorski.
